MASSA initiates Reward scheme for Excellence at its 2 Academies at Navi Mumbai and Chennai.

To promote and encourage excellence, a new reward scheme is being launched as follows:

MASSA initiates Reward scheme for Excellence at its Academies The Maritime Association of Ship Owners, Ship Managers and Agents (MASSA) has initiated a reward scheme for the students undergoing Preparatory courses for CoCs at its 2 Academies at Navi Mumbai and Chennai. All students who, after completing the Preparatory courses of 2nd Mate, Chief Mate Phase I, Chief Mate Phase II, or MEO Class II at its Mumbai and Chennai Academies are able to pass all the functions of the related MMD Written Examination in first attempt, will be recognised and offered one Simulator Course free of cost at any of its Academies. Simulator Courses available are ROSC/ARPA/RANSCO/ECDIS/LCHS/SMS/ERS (Mgmt)/Diesel Engine Combustion. For SMS rebate is 50% if one of the two Phase1 or Phase 2 is cleared in first attempt and 100% if both writtens are cleared in first attempt. This initiative has been extended for a period of 1 year till 31st December 2024 and eligible students can avail of this free offered Simulator Course at any of its Academies within 2 years of the declaration of results of respective MMD Examination.
